In-person and telehealth assessments available
Hi, my name is Kaity! My training is in clinical psychology, and I work with all ages across the lifespan for both therapy and psychological assessment. I particularly enjoy working with children, adolescents, families, and young adults, and have a strong interest in neurodivergence. I have experience working with anxiety, stress, anger, depression, addiction, trauma, PTSD, grief, childhood behavioural problems, personality disorders, general life stress, bullying, self-esteem, and relationship problems. I frequently work with autistic people, those with ADHD, OCD, learning disorders, and intellectual disabilities.
When you meet me, you can expect a warm, gentle, and non-judgemental approach. You will be listened to fully with compassion and understanding. My sole purpose is to meet you where you are, so we can collaborate to bridge the gap between the life you have, and the life you want. Together we can work towards building insight into yourself, your patterns of behaviour and thoughts and use strategies to better meet your ideal self. If you are seeking therapy for a child, you can expect to be a part of the process and for all parties to be heard.
As a foundation for the work we will do together, I draw upon evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and family intervention.
If you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) I will collaborate with your General Practitioner (GP) who referred you, and write progress letters as needed. For more comprehensive or formal assessments, please refer to the Assessments tab for more information.
I look forward to meeting you wherever you are in your journey. Remember you are not alone and I'm here to help!
